A look around the Battalion
Junior Section Fun Day was held at Lenzie Union Halls
on Sat.24 October 2009
The annual Junior Section fun day took place in Lenzie
Union Parish Church. The event was a great success and
was attended by 33 boys and 12 staff from Companies
within the Battalion.
Activities on the day included Puzzles, Games, Challenges,
Obstacle courses and Ten-Pin Bowling. The Battalion would
like to thank all that attended and hope to see more Boys
attending next year.
The Battalion First Aid competition took place on
Thursday 3rd December 2009.
It was closely contested between 1st Torrance and 1st
Kirkintilloch. The overall winners were 1st Torrance “A”
team with a score of 17 points.
The competition was judged by Angela Amato of St
Andrew’s First Aid Strathkelvin Company
